Info Post

Mr Beams makes high quality LED light fixtures for outdoor and indoor use! I got the opportunity to try out the Mr Beams LED battery operated, motion sensing, remote controlled spotlight and I love it! It comes with a stake you can insert in the ground or mount it on the wall. Every staked ground light we have attempted gets trampled by the kids and pets so I knew where i wanted it! Pointed right at my front door, of course! (NOTE: Mr Beams wants me to let you know this particular light is no longer available with the stake, that we elected not to use anyway! :)

I wasn't expecting it to be that bright, but it is! YAY!
I like that it has a remote, but knowing us, I fear it will get lost!

I bought a screaming howling toy to keep on the porch, and I tried to place it in the beam of the LED light, but apparently the light isn't bright enough to make it howl. If I un-suction cup the Howling toy (it comes on by light activation and howls for Halloween of course) and hold it very close to the light it will howl, but not 18 inches away where it would need to be suctioned at. Boo! Now I have to figure out how to fix this problem. I cant put it on the side of the house, it won't suction. Plus it would get wet when it rained there, so I digress.

Moving on..
I love this little light. I love that when I open the screen door now I don't have to turn on the porch light, and forget to turn it back off and have a million bugs on my porch. :)  I know someone out there knows what I mean. Plus- I loved that it was super easy for the Hubby to put up! Heck! I could've done that.
I also love that this product is widely available.

It's good that this battery lasts practically forever  This makes a great accent light for front doors and driveways and walkways. I have experienced no problems with the motion sensing functions of this device. That's to say that it has yet to fail turning on for me. I give this product 5 out of 5 stars for sure!

Being that it's battery powered you know that if the power fails, you'll still have a light outside! My husband said the battery function ensures variety of placement. Since you don't have to run power cords to it, you can put it virtually anywhere you so choose!

I know my dad can be super hard to shop for..I mean, what do you get the man who has everything and wants no presents?  Something for his house! Your Husband or father would probably love this as a gift for this Holiday season!!!

You can buy the Mr Beams LED Spotlight at Walmart for $34.99 but why would you? Since it's $29 on their own website! :) I like that the site shows how many are available. That's helpful!
