I'm giving away the Block Party dress (below) from Shabby Apple an online boutique of women's dresses...
- Note that “liking” Shabby Apple on Facebook is an eligibility requirement for anyone entering! They also want to know which Shabby Apple dress or item is your favorite. Contestants must have a USA shipping address to be eligible for entry.
Today, I introduce and ask if you have heard of the online retailer, Shabby Apple, that specializes in vintage-inspired and boutique dresses for women? Their collections also include maternity and girls, as well as accessories! I was so excited when they contacted me recently, offering a free dress to one of my readers, via this great giveaway! With summer fast approaching, I thought the timing was perfect!! Shabby Apple's gorgeous dresses are grouped into collections, inspired by destinations around the world.
Imagine traveling the world, from the comfort of your computer, viewing gorgeous dresses, inspired by many exotic locations!
Some of my personal favorites include:
JoyRide,
Gondola,
San Gabriel,
Academia,
Gavotte #43, (reminds me of Your So Vain)
Mt Greylock,
Miles,
Too Darn Hot,
Partner,
Walk the Plank,
Shop Around,
& Going Steady
My Block Party dress arrived very quickly and was protectively wrapped in delicate tissue paper. It came in a well-made and sturdy envelope so there is no need to worry about damage during shipping.
My favorite aspect of the site was the Fit to Flatter tool!
The dress itself is made of a Spandex/Polyester blend so you know it's going to be comfortable. A nice invisible side zipper makes it easy to put on and take off and the size chart was very accurate making online ordering a breeze! The gals at Shabby Apple were a pleasure to deal with and you can shop with complete confidence thanks to their easy return/exchange policy.
In addition to having classy, amazing dresses and accessories, they have exquisite swimsuits. I would've much rather done a swimsuit review, but they wouldn't let me. :(
I just do not understand why companies are extremely selective with bloggers about what they review. You would think that they would want the review done on something you REALLY like and are passionate about?
I have included within this blog post pictures of the dresses I liked most. But please note the giveaway is only for the dress Block Party, which you can find links to, and pictures of- at the very top of this blog post!
I loved so many of their dresses, but they had a very short list of dresses available for bloggers. None of the ones I personally liked (of the 20 I picked out, before I realized I was limited in my selection) were available for review.
I love that Shabby Apple dresses maintain their sophistication, yet are still extremely sexy! It is something I would feel extremely attractive in, yet not be ashamed to wear as a mother. A lot of these dresses remind me of other era's, and they are supposed to, which I love! Check out their Sale section!
Some of the Categories/COLLECTIONS include:
Shabby Apple also has really cute little girls dresses too! Definitely a one-stop-shop for you. Shabby Apple additionally has been featured in many magazines such as: O Magazine, Marie Claire, Redbook, BabyTalk, & USA Today!

In any case... I do like LOVE this brand, and I am grateful for the dress, I am just not as enthusiastic as I could've been. It's just a pet-peeve of mine when brands are so selective about review items....
